IDENTIFYING THE PROBLEM

Expanding Support for Tinnitus Sufferers.

Quieten provides a digital solution for individuals living with tinnitus, offering guidance, therapies, and resources to help alleviate symptoms. Following the success of its initial MVP release, Quieten received outstanding international reception and built a strong user base.


However, as the app evolved, new user expectations and content expansion created the need for a more intuitive browsing experience, improved content discovery, and a refresh of the user interface. Founder and tinnitus relief educator Julian Cowan Hill approached us to lead the next phase of development, ensuring users could easily navigate, interact with, and personalise their experience.


The challenge was to enhance content accessibility, introduce interactive tools for personalised guidance, and ensure a seamless experience for both free and premium users.

CRAFTING THE SOLUTION

A Smarter, More Personalised Approach to Tinnitus Care.

To maximise the effectiveness of Quieten V2, we refined key user pathways and overhauled the app’s interface to deliver a smoother, more intuitive experience. The redesign focused on functionality and engagement, introducing data-driven features that support a more personalised approach to tinnitus management. Users can now interact with the app in ways that feel responsive to their specific needs, making it easier to access targeted therapies and relevant content.


Key improvements include the introduction of an Interactive Tinnitus Matrix, which analyses symptoms to categorise severity and recommend tailored resources. Enhanced search and filtering tools make it simple for users to discover the most relevant videos and audio therapies, while personalised playlists allow them to save and return to their preferred content. A refreshed UI and streamlined navigation improve usability across both iOS and Android, and new subscription management tools ensure premium users can easily access exclusive support and materials.
